30th June 2008 - Bob Dean retires

Bob Dean's retirement letter: "You may or may not have heard through the grapevine that I am retiring (early I hasten to add!) from work on the 30th June 2008 I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your business and friendship during my time with Lewis Roofing (Midlands) Ltd (and before with some of you) and trust you will continue to do business with them, particularly through these difficult times. Mike Lewis and Paul Nolan will be here to give you their usual service for many years to come. Again, thank you for your support and friendship over the years. Kind regards, Bob Dean" Bob was one of the original founders of the company and his contributions will be missed. We all wish him a full and happy retirement.

December 2006 - Matrix Medical Centre , Bridgnorth.

We have just succesfully completed the main roof area on this contract. The specification for the pitched roof area was Tactray 90 steel liner tray panels including insulation and counterbattens with Russell Grampian tiles as the roof covering including the Russell dry fix ridge, hip, valley and verge systems. There were 19 dormer roofs situated within the main roof area. The side cheeks and fronts of these dormers were lead clad in accordance with the LSA recommendations. There was also a central flat roof area where we installed a D38 metal deck fixed to steel purlins then supplied and fixed Kingspan TR27 rigid insulation boards which were mechanically fixed to the deck. The flat roof covering was then installed which was the Rhepanol FK single ply membrane for which we are registered contractors. This contract is a typical example of the type of work that Lewis Roofing (Midlands) Ltd can undertake where the main contactor is looking to place the complete roofing package with just one contractor.

December 2006 - Subcontractors site safety award

One of our roof tilers has been issued with the Willmott Dixon Housing Ltd subcontractors safety award for his contribution and proactive attitude to the safety culture on site.
